Unboxing New Garmin Oregon 700 and compare w/Oregon 600

The newly released Oregon 700 adds some modernization to the aging but still powerful Oregon 600. Features added in Oregon 700: Activities (just select an activity after boot-up and hit start to record, you can still switch to classic mode if you like.) Bluetooth Sync (for Live tracking and weather data) Wifi Sync Connect IQ Integration Live Weather Map (cell phone data dependent) Geocaching Live (cell phone data dependent) Redesigned Antenna (though oregon 600 already locks on super fast) Everything else pretty much stays the same as Oregon 600. If you need Garmin Connect integration, you have to get the Oregon 700 series (700 with no preloaded maps, 700t with topo maps, 750 with camera, 750t with topo and camera). If you just use the device purely for outdoor navigation/waypoints tracking, and you like the good ol-fashioned way of uploading activites through your PC. You'll be quite happy with now much affordable Oregon 600 series.
