A Complete Guide to Writing Four-Part Harmony (Counterpoint)
This is the second video in my four-part series on four-part harmony (also called four-voice counterpoint). If you've ever tried to study species (Palestrina) counterpoint and found it too slow and painful, well, you might like this video! My goal is to teach you not only the process and rules of Bach counterpoint (four-part chorale harmonization), but also tell you the reasons why I think those rules exist, and hopefully have a bit of fun with it!
