Crispy, Chewy & Oven Toasted! Rice Krispy Treats Like Never Before - Steph’s Stove

Oven Toasted Rice Krispy Treats - This recipe uses the oven for a lightly toasted finish that takes Rice Krispy Treats to the next level. 6 tablespoons butter (sliced into six even tablespoons) 16 oz. bag of large marshmallows 8 cups Rice Krispy Cereal* (divided) *generic brand cereal works well for this recipe. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Using a non-stick pan (you can also spray the pan or line with parchment), add butter slices evenly over the bottom of the pan. Add marshmallows and cover the entire bottom of the pan. Pour 6-cups of Rice Krispy Cereal over the marshmallows being sure they are placed evenly along the pan and tucked into the edges. Place in the oven (uncovered) and bake for approximately 20-minutes. Remove from the oven. Using a silicone spatula coated with butter, immediately stir the mixture (gently to prevent spilling) and add 2-cups of Rice Krispy Cereal into the mixture.
