Wandern am Rhein - auf den Rheinterrassen von Mz-Laubenheim nach Oppenheim(2018, 4k)

The hike on the Rheinterrassenpfad starts at the train station in Mz-Laubenheim and goes over the Laubenheimer Höhe through the vineyards to Bodenheim with a detour to the church St. Alban and the pilgrimage chapel St. Maria and further to Nackenheim to the town hall. Then continue on the red terrace slopes above the Rhine to Nierstein and there over the market place further direction Oppenheim to the castle ruins Landkron. Then to St. Catherine's Church, to the marketplace and on through the Gautor to the old district court. From there back to the market square and over the Toad Fountain to the clock tower and the S-Bahn station for the return to the starting point. The walk through the vineyards on the Rhine offers a variety of beautiful viewpoints on one of the busiest waterways in the world and the long Rhine Valley. The beautiful wine villages along the route invite you to visit and take a rest.
