Challenging myself to 10,000 basketball shots in 30 days. Tracking (almost) every session, and posting the progress. And today? Frustrated that I'm gassed after 15 minutes. At first I thought I was regressing but then I realized it's because I'm moving faster, expending more energy, moving like I used to 5 years ago. I'm also taking better quality practice shots than when I started last week. That takes a bigger toll. At the end of today, day 10, I'm at 3200 jump shots. Behind schedule by 4 days. Sunny day, barely any wind. Kids everywhere, playground, other end of the court playing 1v1 battles, and a group of them searching for Pennywise the clown in the drain right behind the chain link fence.
