The Uncomfortable Truth About Wildlife Tourism in India
Wildlife tourism in India often goes viral for one reason: overcrowding. Too many safari vehicles. Too much chaos. Too much pressure around tigers. And honestly, some of that criticism is valid. But I also think the conversation needs a wider perspective. Because the story of tiger conservation in India is far more complicated than just a few crowded sightings on social media. In this video, I wanted to explore that uncomfortable reality. From colonial trophy hunting and organized poaching networks to Project Tiger, tourism, local communities, overcrowding, and the strange relationship between conservation and human obsession. None of this is black and white. And maybe conservation in the real world was never supposed to look perfect.
