Beethoven Symphony no 3 "Eroica" New York Philharmonic Orchestra Klaus Tennstedt New York 15 March 1988. The performance of this symphony 10 days earlier in was hailed by one NY critic as the greatest Eroica ever! This performance is the same or very similar. I will leave you to decide that for yourselves. This is the broadest, Grandest most dynamic slow movement I have ever heard. It is monumental. Occasional radio interference.
