Former Labour Party official Richard Power Sayeed joins Talk's Alex Phillips over the cost of Britain’s transition to renewable energy. Alex highlights the estimated £900 million cost of paying wind farms to reduce output when the grid cannot absorb excess power.  Richard acknowledges the expense but argues it’s outweighed by money saved from less dependence on unstable international gas markets.
