This time I play as the hero of Ninja Gaiden himself, Ryu Hayabusa. Apparently he wasn't originally going to be in the game. According to some wiki sites that may or may not be reliable, he started off as a character named Kamui, but one of the Tecmo staffs suggested including Ryu Hayabusa in the game, so the Star of Ninja Gaiden got into DoA, thus making the two series connected.
