Most of the time, many people called it in short as “Green Skin”. In 2017, Penang Fruit Farmers Association renamed it to “Green Dragon”. This species is inherited from the “Ghani” Durian second generation at Teluk Bahang Durian Orchard. 青皮15是1990年槟城榴莲冠军,很多时候,它都被称为“青皮”。2017年,槟城果农公会又把这榴莲换名为“青龙”。此品种是源自直落巴巷果园“坚尼”(Ghani)的第二代极品。 Green Skin 15 has a long shape and sharp at the bottom. The stem end has a corona shape. Very big thorn. Generally, the fruits are 2kg and above. Green Skin 15 flesh is presented in yellow colour. The flesh is very thick, fiberless, sticky, very bitter and carrying the wine taste. The aroma is very strong. Normally, if you have a fresh Green Skin 15, it will make your tongue become numb. This is a durian for the durian lovers who like the bitter taste. 青皮15外壳长形尖尾巴,柄尾有个冠形的特征,粗刺,一般都在2公斤以上。青皮15果肉呈黄色,极厚,细腻,黏喉,味道偏苦,带有酒味,味道极浓,一般早食都会麻舌。也是喜欢苦味榴莲老饕的选择。 Green Skin Kia is a small size fruit. The weight is about 1kg. The husk is in round shape and the colour is bright green. It has a very short stem. At Seberang Perai, the other nickname is “Green Apple”. The flesh colour is light yellow. The taste is bitter sweet, very fine fiber. It is one of the very nice durians. 青皮仔属于小型果,重量在1公斤左右,外壳圆形,颜色亮青色,短柄。在威省一般称为“青苹果”,果肉呈淡黄色,味道甜中带苦,纤维细腻,也是很好吃的榴莲之一。 If the seller is telling you “Green Skin”, please double confirm is “Green Skin 15” or “Green Skin Kia”.
