Synopsis: In the late 1980s, in northern France, women were being raped early in the morning, always in the same way, on the same road along the Sambre River. The police failed to grasp the seriousness of these attacks and didn't connect them. The justice system was overwhelmed by the mounting caseload. It would take thirty years to arrest a man who had never stopped attacking women and who was responsible for at least 54 rapes or sexual assaults. Thirty years is a long time...
