"Signs from the Afterlife - Extraordinary Investigations" / Does a part of the human being survive death? No one can answer this question with certainty. Yet some individuals, mediums, claim to be able to communicate with the deceased. Several experiments are being conducted, including a test prepared according to recognized scientific protocols, to understand how mediums obtain this information about the deceased. The exploration of this phenomenon continues with terminally ill individuals who say they receive visits from deceased loved ones who come to reassure them, and, even more astonishingly, with the testimonies of individuals who are neither dying nor mediums, who claim to be contacted by the dead. So, is it hallucination? Madness? What are we to make of those who witness these phenomena in groups, of those members of the medical profession confronted with inexplicable events, of the individual saved by a message from the deceased, or of the house "inhabited" by a man unaware that he is dead? A bizarre idea, yet one mentioned in the Bardo Thodol, the Tibetan Book of the Dead written in the 12th century. This film gives a voice to the researchers and scientists who have seriously studied the question.
