Overall, the weights were excellent, exceeding expectations. Also, no brakes were used, as the foot would likely be used to propel the scooter if it had a propulsion system, such as an electric motor, for example, which would require a means of stopping the scooter. A set of square tubes were used in the manufacture of the scooter, measuring 20x20mm, 20x30mm, and 40x80mm, in addition to 3/4- and 1/2-inch tubes. 10-inch bicycle wheels were also used.
