As Route 66 celebrates its 100th anniversary, Destination USA explores how the Mother Road became an American icon and why its legacy still matters today. Host Patrick Clark sits down with Blueberry Hill owner and developer Joe Edwards to discuss the music, movies and roadside attractions that helped turn Route 66 into a pop culture phenomenon. Later, Clark visits with Jason Patrick of the Route 66 Association of Missouri to learn how preservation efforts are keeping the historic highway's stories, landmarks and communities alive for future generations.
