Building the Frankenstrat Guitar for Under $200 (AKA Unorthodox Frankenstrat Build)
Last year, I built an Eddie Van Halen Frankenstrat on a $500 budget. That video gained a significant amount of attention and seemed to "trigger" the Frankenstrat community with my unorthodox style of building and playing. Rather than suck up to these hard-to-please frankenstrat "purists", I decided to build another Frankenstrat. This time, I did things on an even tighter budget, paying even less attention to detail, and playing everything besides Van Halen riffs. You didn't ask for it but you got it anyways. The 70's era "black and white" Frankenstrat fully equipped with a $10 Les Paul pickup, Chinese tremolo, and a genuinely low quality basswood body. Key components: Body: https://www.amazon.com/Baoblaze-Handc... Neck: https://www.amazon.com/Rosewood-Fretb... Pickup: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0756XDVJN/... Tremolo: https://www.amazon.com/Chrome-Strings... All other components were bought on Amazon and eBay. Grand total $186.00 Thanks for watching!
