Arduino Lilypad Death Star Christmas Sweater step-by-step tutorial

Step-by-step tutorial for making a custom Death Star Christmas sweater complete with glittering LEDs on the stomach and back and accelerometer triggered death ray lights up each sleeve. Here is a list of things you need to buy. You can get them all from Sparkfun.com LEDs: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13903 quantity 10 Conductive thread bobbin: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10867 quantity 3 Battery: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13813 quantity 1 Lilypad Main Board: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13342 quantity 1 LiPo Charger: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10401 quantity 1 FTDI breakout to upload program (unless you already have one) https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10275 quantity 1 Accelerometer ADXL335 https://www.sparkfun.com/products/9267 quantity 2 You'll also need a needle to thread the conductive thread and a soldering iron and solder. NOTE: If I did this again I would double up my conductive thread so that the resistance wouldn't be too high preventing the accelerometers from working properly. The copper wires I used on this project are not great and lead to the sweater being uncomfortable and lumpy but I had to use them for the sake of getting my project done in time. If you do use copper wires I suggest buying about 30ft of CAT6 cable used for ethernet because inside for every 1 foot of CAT6 cable you get 8 feet of thin little shielded copper wires!
