When Pakistani Students Invited Me to Represent Their Culture

Years ago, I was given one of the greatest honors of my dance career. The Pakistani international students of the University of Missouri Science & Technology invited me to join them during our university’s Celebration of Nations. One of the Pakistani women graciously loaned me her beautiful traditional outfit and encouraged me throughout the event. Their kindness, trust, and friendship made this a memory I will always treasure. This performance celebrates culture, community, and the friendships that can grow through dance. I remain deeply grateful for the opportunity to share this special day with such wonderful people.
