In this video I try out my new Pit Boss Navigator 6-series Vertical Pellet Smoker by filling it up with 10 lbs of beef jerky. This was a test run, and I learned a lot about how this smoker runs on this cook. I am looking forward to the next cook of this smoker, let me know what you think I need to try next! Jerky Marinade Recipe: 5 lbs sliced lean beef (eye of round) 2/3 Cup - Soya Sauce (I prefer low sodium) 1/4 Cup - Worcestershire Sauce 1 Tbsp - Onion Powder 1 Tbsp - Garlic Powder 1 Tbsp - Steak Spice (use your favorite) 1 Tbsp - Seasoning Salt 2 Tbsp - Brown Sugar 1 Tbsp - Black Pepper 1 Tsp - Cayenne Powder 1 Tsp - Red Chili pepper flakes (more if you like spicy) 1 Tsp - Pink cure salt (optional for curing and preserving) Marinade in the fridge overnight or up to 48 hours Add or remove ingredients as you prefer and make this recipe your own!
