The 3 Tiers of Truth Will End 90% of Your Arguments

A couple of weeks ago, someone very close to me and I argued for an entire day about immigration and jobs in South Africa. Days later I realized neither of us was wrong — and that's exactly the problem. I'm Zimbabwean. I've lived in South Africa since 2014, my family is South African, and I've spent ten years working and travelling between Africa, the US and the Caribbean. So this argument wasn't academic for me — I AM the argument. In this video: Neil deGrasse Tyson's Three Tiers of Truth (personal, political, objective), what playing with billion-dollar notes in Grade 6 taught me about money, why most arguments are people shouting across tiers — and the one question that ends 90% of them before they start. This channel doesn't tell you what to think. It gives you tools to think with. Take it — or leave it. CHAPTERS 0:00 They weren't wrong.
