Dizzy Strings, Bikes and guitars Episode 11 -St. Augustine and farewell to the Gulf-

After leaving Tybee Island, I continue south to one of America's oldest cities – St. Augustine, Florida. Founded by the Spanish in 1565, St. Augustine is full of history, legends, and beautiful architecture. In this episode I visit the famous Castillo de San Marcos, wander the old streets, explore the grounds of Mission Nombre de Dios, and take in the atmosphere of Old Florida. From there I make my way back west for one last look at the Gulf Coast. A visit to Fort Morgan, Alabama, stunning coastal scenery, offshore oil rigs, and an unexpected dolphin encounter make for a perfect farewell to one of my favorite parts of this journey.
