FULL SCENE FOOTAGE: Five-Vehicle Crash Shuts Down I-215 In San Bernardino

At approximately 11:54 p.m. on June 24, 2026, California Highway Patrol officers, San Bernardino County Fire, and AMR responded to a reported three-vehicle collision on the northbound 215 Freeway at Baseline Road in San Bernardino. While emergency crews were responding to the initial crash, a second collision occurred, increasing the total number of involved vehicles to five. The chain-reaction crashes prompted a large emergency response, with four ambulances requested to the scene to treat and transport the injured. Authorities have not released the exact number of patients transported or the severity of their injuries. Due to the crashes, all northbound lanes of the 215 Freeway were shut down for approximately 45 minutes while firefighters, paramedics, and CHP officers worked to assist victims, investigate the collisions, and remove damaged vehicles from the roadway. A SigAlert was issued as traffic backed up through the area during the overnight response.
