In a film career spanning four decades, he has acted in over 275 Malayalam films. He made his onscreen debut in the 1982 film Balloon in the leading role. His 1996 film Kaanaakkinaavu premiered at the IFFI and won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration. He co-produced Kadha Parayumbol (2007), which won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Film with Popular Appeal and Aesthetic Value. Mukesh is the current MLA representing the Kollam constituency of Kerala state. Dhyan Sreenivasan is an Indian actor, film director, screenwriter, and producer who works in Malayalam films. He made his acting debut with Thira (2013), directed by his elder brother Vineeth Sreenivasan. He made his directorial debut with Love Action Drama. Dhyan made his film debut in 2013, with the Malayalam film Thira which has Shobana in main lead role. In the film, he did a supporting role along with two-time National Award winning actress Shobana.
