They are not Sheila O'Byrne's child. They are archive images that I came across while writing my book on the Tuam mother and baby home, 'My Name Is Bridget' in 2018. These images were kindly given to us by Bernie McKendry who owns the rights to them and holds all original copies. Her late mother, Margaret Moloney, was in St. Patrick's mother and baby home on the Navan Road in the 1960's. Children in many homes like St. Patrick's who were placed for adoption were advertised in some national papers. Their records will be sealed.
