Retrofitting a unique Greywater system, part 1. I’m working to reduce my dependence on city water by this month by building Greywater systems to irrigate my lot before the major water restrictions and rate increases in Arizona, next year. Around October next year the Colorado river water agreement comes to a conclusion, effectively reducing available fresh water to Arizona state by about 70%! We use about 45% of our city water for irrigation here in the west and I plan on reducing that by 35% which will save me hundreds on my water bill after the water rates increase, while saving my lots useful, edible vegetation. I’ll be utilizing Greywater methods developed and perfected by Greywater expert, Brad Lancaster. Here’s a link I just found to Greywater rebates in Phoenix. Up to $1000. Regenerative Lifestyles group.
