EVERY TOWN AND VILLAGE IN THE PEAK DISTRICT...109...Upper Hulme...Nestled Below Hen Cloud.

Was so glad to get out again today even though it was still raining but not as heavy as it has been...Upper Hulme is another one of those places that different guide books either call a Village or a Hamlet so had to include it in the series...Nestled below the magnificent rock formation called Hen Cloud and the Roaches, Upper Hulme is on the Staffordshire side of the Peak District National Park...Upper Hulme has traditional stone built cottages that used to house the workers of the long gone silk mill...The pretty waterfall in the village is on the River Churnet that begins in the moorlands and flows to Leek...I couldn't resist heading up the road to Hen Cloud and the Roaches to try and take some pics of the countryside but had enough when the rain started bouncing off my bald bonce...I hope you enjoy my Music called Waterfall...Thanks for Watching and Listening...Les.
