In this video, I share key moments from my parliamentary journey as highlighted on Sansad TV, reflecting on my responsibilities, contributions, and vision as a Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha). Over the past three years in Parliament, I have actively participated through meaningful questions, Private Member Bills, and discussions on issues that matter deeply to our nation. From advocating gender-neutral reforms through the National Commission for Men Bill, to raising the demand for a National Commission for Farmers, my focus has been on inclusive, balanced, and people-centric policymaking. My work remains deeply rooted in Punjab. I have prioritised MP funds for medical assistance, upgraded essential community infrastructure such as cremation grounds, and strongly raised the issue of flood-related losses affecting farmers and citizens. I also continue to challenge misconceptions about Punjab by highlighting its strong agricultural and industrial foundations. At the heart of my public life lies a firm belief — Transforming Education is key to Transforming India. I actively advocate policy reforms—particularly opening more seats in India’s premier institutions to international students—to strengthen global perception and showcase the true quality of Indian education. The video also reflects my participation in international parliamentary delegations, where I had the honour of representing India and reinforcing the strength of our democratic values on the global stage. I view Parliament not just as a legislative forum, but as a platform for continuous learning, dialogue, and service.
