Lynn said NO to this dirt road | Old Maverick Road & Big Bend Ranch SP

Sometimes Lynn just has to say… NO! This was one of those times. As we took one of the off-shoots of the Old Maverick Road it quickly degraded and became a little gnarly. When both of us do not feel comfortable about our route or road we don’t do it… so we turned around. The rest of the dirt roads were not much better though. Ride along with us as we take the Old Maverick Road from Big Bend National Park through the ghost town of Terlingua and then on the dirt roads of Big Bend Ranch State Park to one of the most remote campsites in the park. All in all over 100 miles of dirt roads just to get to a campsite. To be honest it may have been too much. But looking back, now that we’re safely back to civilization, it was awesome!
