30 minutes of EXCLUSIVE early multiplayer gameplay for Modern Warfare 4 This Modern Warfare 4 gameplay gives us an early look at the visual direction, gunplay and combat systems being developed for Call of Duty 2026. Throughout the footage, you’ll see how weapons handle across different map layouts, with a particular focus on the updated M4 rifle, aiming mechanics, recoil, movement and overall weapon fidelity. Developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 aims to deliver the grounded, intense military action the Modern Warfare series is known for across Campaign, Multiplayer and DMZ. Modern Warfare 4 Multiplayer introduces a weapon-focused combat system designed around precise aiming, physical weapon handling, improved visibility, realistic audio propagation and consistent gunplay. Weapon bloom has reportedly been removed from hipfire, helping shots feel more predictable and connected to where the weapon is actually pointing. Movement remains grounded but allows for fluid transitions, greater player control and more options when pushing enemies, changing angles or repositioning during a fight. At launch, Modern Warfare 4 is expected to feature: • 12 new core 6v6 Multiplayer maps • Dedicated Gunfight maps • Large-scale Big War maps • Vehicle and infantry combat • Kill Block, featuring hundreds of possible map configurations • An expanded Gunsmith and unified loadout system • New weapons, equipment and killstreaks • Apex Attachments unlocked through weapon progression • Classic Prestige and Regular Prestige progression paths This extended MW4 gameplay also showcases updated weapon models, environments, animations and the overall pace of Multiplayer combat.
