Sling TSI Build Update - Center Fuselage Assembly, Firewall work and Tank Testing

This week I tested the right fuel tank that I assembled and sealed last week. I used a low pressure air gauge I bought at the suggestion of a Facebook Sling Builders group member suggested. It worked well but I had two small leaks in the back channel of the tank. I sealed these with proseal using it like a caulk and worked it into the crevice between the channel and the tank skin. I’ll test again in a few more days. I started assembly of the center fuselage and did a good bit of assembly and have the two center bottom skins riveted on. I used proseal sealant on the stainless steel rivets used on the main spar carry-through assembly. This is done for prevent corrosion due to dissimilar metals. I also filled the rivets on the bottom of the fuselage and got them sanded down. Today I assembled the firewall and prepped parts for priming tomorrow. This will be the last main priming session. #experimentalaircraft #kitbuiltaircraft #slingaircraft #experimentalamatuerbuiltaircraft
