Mercedes C Class 4Matic transfer case problem
It appears the minimal amount of parts needed to fix this problem is 2 large tapered roller bearings and one smaller tapered roller bearing. The oil seals for the output shafts on the transfer case would also be a wise decision. Parts: TIMKEN NP577617 (Qty. 2) - Large Roller Bearing or... TIMKEN NP604623-90KA1 - for an assembly with the same part# above, but includes incorrect outer race. TIMKEN NP312842 (Qty. 1) - Roller Bearing or... TIMKEN NP925485-99402 for the bearing assembly including outer race Mercedes front and rear output shaft oil seals (Part # and price edit coming soon) The TIMKEN bearings are not easily found
