Watubelah Stadium is a project jointly developed by the Cirebon Regency Government and the West Java Provincial Government. Construction of Watu Belah Stadium was planned in 2010, with the goal of providing a national-level sports facility. The stadium was expected to become a center of sports activity in Cirebon Regency while also supporting the development of local athletic talent. Construction began in mid-2012 and was scheduled for completion in 2015. After 11 years, Watubelah Stadium had cost Rp 228.4 billion. In 2012, Rp 19 billion was disbursed. However, the project did not progress smoothly, and construction was halted in 2013. Revitalization of Watubelah Stadium resumed in November 2023 with a budget of Rp 9.4 billion. The funding for the construction came from the Cirebon Regency Regional Budget (APBD).
