Shacman heavy-duty trucks are well known in Russia, while updated X6000 tractor units and new H6000 construction models, including dump trucks, were presented at the ComVex exhibition. The X6000 range includes 4×2 and 6×4 variants. Both are equipped with a 12.54-litre Weichai engine that meets Euro 5 standards. The long-haul model develops 480 hp, while the three-axle model, designed for more severe conditions, develops 550 hp. The transmission is a 16-speed Fast Gear robotic gearbox. It is interesting that not only the rear, but also the front suspension of both tractors is pneumatic. Restyling brought a modified front mask, bumper, spoilers and inner door cards. Headlights are LED, silent blocks are installed in the front suspension to improve ride smoothness. The sleeping compartment has been enlarged: now the width of the shelf with a new mattress is 110 cm. The parking brake has become electronic, a hill start assistant has been added to the package. The instruments are fully digital - 34 cm diagonal, with a larger font. And the diagonal of the central tablet is 44 cm! Previously, anyone and everyone brought Shakmans to us: the brand had 124 importers! But the company switched to a European sales model: through its own representative office, Shakman Motors, which is now the sole distributor and holder of certificates, or vehicle type approvals.
