Although it is one of the smallest states in Brazil, Espírito Santo has one of the most solid and competitive economies in the country, surpassing several powerhouses such as Goiás and Minas Gerais, and consolidating itself as the ninth largest GDP per capita nationally, perfectly fitting the saying that size doesn't matter. All this financial potential comes from sectors such as mining, agribusiness, and especially oil and natural gas production, being nothing less than the second largest oil producer in Brazil. However, despite already standing out in some robust areas, the giant Amazon has decided to build a monumental project in the interior of Espírito Santo that will transform the state into the largest logistics powerhouse in all of Brazil and this small municipality into one of the most modern and technological cities in South America, where more than 1 billion reais will be invested to surpass São Paulo and make it the main national flow management center.
