PRAAD MARKS INTERNATIONAL ARCHIVES WEEK WITH EXHIBITION AND TOURS

The Public Records and Archives Administration Department, PRAAD, on Tuesday June 9, 2026, held an exhibition and departmental tours day as part of International Archives Week celebrations. Acting Head of Archives, Ms. Millicent Aryee, explained that documents undergo several processes before they become official archives. She called on the general public to get involved and prioritize proper record keeping. The Records Department of the Volta River Authority was also present to showcase its journey since 1961. Security personnel, citizens, and students attended to learn and celebrate the importance of preserving national records.
