Kashmiri Pandits performed Hawan at Wasak Nag Pracheen Mandir after 40 years, marking the community's return to a revered spiritual site in the Valley. A devotee, Shanti Bhat, said, "We appreciated the installation of the Vasuki Nag Idol, which is finally underway... I thank everyone for this. Looking at it rekindled old memories... Renovation has been ongoing, but the havan happened for the first time, evoking strong emotions... Locals are very supportive and have been instrumental in our presence here. We feel no fear..." A local named Ashraj Ghani said, "We are so happy about that, we cannot express our feelings in words. Today, the Muslim community is also happy here, as well as the Pandits. After 40 years, a festival is happening.
