Liebherr – Mobile and Crawler Cranes UpLoad 4/2024

In the fourth and final issue of our video magazine for 2024, we start with our "Maximum on eight axles". In the "In focus" category (start 00:39), Florian Brunner explains the quick and economical solution we have developed for self-assembly of the boom on the LTM 1650-8.1. Then, in the "Mobile and crawler cranes" category (start 04:08), we head to Paris: following the major fire at the 800-year-old Notre Dame Cathedral, our mobile cranes have been on site since the start of the reconstruction work. An LTM 1350-6.1 completed the filigree crossing tower on the new roof truss. From Paris the journey continues to Bavaria (start 05:50): The THW bridge construction specialist group has purchased twelve LTC mobile cranes to be well equipped in the event of flooding. We accompanied two of these cranes during an exercise. At the end of our video magazine (start: 09:00), we accompanied our new LR 1700-1.0W narrow-track crawler crane on its first job at a wind farm in Portugal.
