3 Trains Show Up With Only 2 Tracks. Trains Passing At Metro Park Near Dayton, Ohio. Trains Go Under New Pedestrian Bridge. CSX Trains In Vandalia, Ohio At Taylorsville Metro Park On The CSX Toledo Sub. Railfan Hot Spot. We spent the day here at the 1,300+ acre Taylorsville Metro Park in Vandalia, Ohio, USA. This is just north of Dayton, Ohio on the CSX Toledo Sub. The railroad goes through the park and the park actually follows the line for over 4 miles to the next railroad crossing to the north. Average trains are about one per hour. The best frequencies to use are 160.230 for the road channel and 160.290 for the dispatcher. Since it is close to the Dayton metro area the EOT frequencies are not recommended. You will hear unnecessary chirping with the EOT frequencies. These are the trains that we got. I moved around to get them from different locations in the park. At one point there were 3 trains needing to pass. One train took the siding and the other 2 trains passed on the main. I also filmed a train from the new pedestrian bridge. That wasn't very easy since the bridge is covered in steel webbing to prevent things from being tossed at the trains. The holes are way too small. The last time that I was here they were in the process of building the bridge. Don't forget the Live Action Pets and the Slide Show near the end of the video.
