In this new series I choose a pattern and then spin yarn to knit it. The episodes follow one project from spinning through to the finished knitted item This first episode is the oak Hollow mitts by Dianna Walla https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr... Spun from a pack of mini bundles of merino fibre from world of wool https://www.worldofwool.co.uk/product... I’ve show how I create 2ply mini skeins by spinning continuously and plying to keep the colours separate. For the colourwork I’ve use the ladderback jacquard technique and shown how to set that up. I’m so pleased with the finished mitts. They are really soft and warm.
