From PVC Pipe to RimbaTubes | Snubby J (aka Kent Jenkins) | TEDxOaksChristianSchool

Snubby J liked The Blue Man Group so much that he built his own RimbaTubes with his dad to produce his own music. His biggest goal was to become a Blue Man but he learned much more about himself and his ability in the process. KENT JENKINS (SNUBBY J) is a multi-talented performer known on YouTube for his music videos featuring his homemade RimbaTubes, a PVC pipe instrument inspired by the Blue Man Group. His videos are followed by over 250,000 subscribers and have been viewed over 40 million times worldwide. Kent has appeared in commercials and on television including “America’s Got Talent” (2010), “The Cover” (France, 2014) and "Das Supertalent" (Germany, 2015). Apart from YouTube, Kent works as a physical theatre actor, musician and street performer in Los Angeles. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx
