Learn Ethiopian Sign Language: Months & Days of the Week

Join us in learning introductory Ethiopian Sign Language, a growing language used by Deaf communities throughout Ethiopia!! This video features volunteers from the Visions Center for the Deaf in Hawassa, Sidama, Ethiopia, and was produced on behalf of Visions Global Empowerment (USA) and Visions Global Empowerment Ethiopia. *We recognize that there are different dialects of sign language being used throughout Ethiopia, so please note that the signs used in this series of short instructional videos are representative of the sign language used in Hawassa, Sidama at the time of filming (August 2023).
