The School derives its name from the 9th Guru of Sikh, Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji, who is known to be peerless martyr in the history of the world. He laid down his life for the rights of the people. At the beginning in 1993 with the strength of 375 students and in the year 2005 the numbers swelled over to 1350 and at present numerous of students enrolled every year.
