Krithi: Padmanabha Pahi Ragam: Hindolam Thalam: Adi Composer: Swathi Thirunal Vocal: M K Sankaran Namboothiri Sankaran Namboothiri was born to Krishnan Namboothiri (Kathakali singer) and Adithi Devi Antharjanam (Madom Illam, Punnayam) in the year 1971. His native place is 'Punnayam' (Asamannoor village) Perumbavoor, Ernakulam, Kerala. Renowned as a child prodigy, he started learning music at the age of ten under the tutelage of C. S. Narayanan Namboothiri. He later trained under T. V. Gopalakrishnan, Mavelikkara Prabhakara Varma, and K. V. Narayanaswamy. He is the youngest A Top grade vocalist with All India Radio. After the post graduation Sankaran Namoothiri became a popular Music figure.His concerts relayed by All India Radio, Chennai regularly. Namboothiri sharing his experience as a music lecturer in The Teachers College of Music run by the Music Academy chennai and one year teaching experience in Swathi Kalakendra in Calicut Kerala( An affiliated college of Gandharava mahavidyalaya University M.P).He is celebrated for his mellifluous voice, intricate improvisations and adherence to the classicism of Carnatic music. Many music organizations all over the globe had honored Sankaran Namboothiri with titles and awards. In recognition of his scholarship By Ministry of Human Resources and Development, service to Carnatic music. He was honored with a Junior Fellowship from the Department of Culture, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.
