少林心意罗汉捶Xinyi Luohan Chui- Shaolin Mind and Intention Arhat Hammers

Master Wu Nanfang showing Shaolin Mind and Intention Arhat Hammers. In the past it was said that all the Shaolin Sets were mostly called Chui(Hammers) as it was one of the main weapons. Hammers means that the Fist was shaped like an hammer. And therefore offered a similar way to punch the opponent. In Shaolin there are mainy Luohan sets(Arhat) for example like the 18 Luohan Sets, Xiao Luohan Quan, Da Luohan Quan, Zui Luohan(Drunken Luohan, there is a non modern Wushu version of it), Luohan Shiba Shou(Luohan 18 Hands). Also this set is from Wugulun Lineage. This makes is special as they use the Xinyi Bodywork for all of their forms. Which does not go for all modern Shaolin Practitioners. I am not sure how Shaolin Practitioners did it 200 years ago, but I believe they were not stiff as many of those people you can see today.
