English Narration - Khait Parvat is a famous mountain situated in Ghansali in the Tehri district of Uttarakhand state. Khait Parvat is also known as “Country of Fairies”. It is said that here the fairies place of residence. Khait Parvat is at a height of about 10500 ft. above sea level.  There is a vaulted mountain near the village of Thaat which is called Khat Parvat. At an elevation of about 10000 feet above sea level, this mountain is not less than paradise. It is said that people suddenly get a glimpse of fairies somewhere. People believe that the fairies protect the surrounding villages.
