Al’Fado’s arrangement to this ancient song is a result of work they have started with the pianist João-Paulo Esteves da Silva, which is also a guest musician in their album. It offers a modern perspective of this piece, including interchanging tempos and time stamps, influenced by more recent styles of music like Jazz and Fusion. .
