This is a nice long byway, again i wish i had gone out in the cold to try it, when dry suitable for most. It is signposted properly too, locals have once again their own signs out it seems. Join me for a ride through the beautiful green lanes of the county! There are quite a few stunning trails around Sussex and Kent that are within local reach for us. This ride takes place entirely on legal Byways Open to All Traffic (BOATs) in East Sussex. All routes were checked in advance and ridden responsibly. Because these are mixed-use trails, it’s crucial to respect other users—you will often come across horses, cyclists, dog walkers, and hikers. 💡 Tips for finding trails: You can use your local council's maps to find these trails and do some off-roading. It’s a great way to learn which local lanes are actually BOATs and which are just bridleways, especially since some have changed purpose over the years. 🤝 Join the Community: I highly recommend joining your local TRF (Trail Riders Fellowship).
