Invited by a young couple who enjoy jet skiing, I went out to Mikawa Bay again. Two couples, each on their own jet ski, enjoyed the calm waters of Mikawa Bay on a beautiful early summer day. As we were about to leave the island, my friend's wife's jet ski had trouble starting! Towing it from here would be quite a challenge. After much trial and error, we got the engine started! Thank goodness! This time, instead of pushing ourselves, we decided to explore a new cafe on a beach we could stop at on the way back! We found a wonderful place. A perfect day. [Reason why even the main power wouldn't turn on] Recently, Sea-Doo jet skis are said to not power on if the battery voltage drops even slightly. This unresponsive behavior is apparently "normal," and not a malfunction. It's because the Sea-Doo's electronic control system automatically shuts down to "prevent damage from low voltage." Compared to my 2014 model, there's even more electronic control, and this phenomenon seems to occur when the voltage drops below 12V. 2014 Model (Old MPEM Generation) Parallel GTX155 → Even if the voltage drops, an error message will appear first. → The meter lights up, and a warning sound and message appear. → After that, the starter motor turns slowly and it becomes impossible to start. Newer Model (iBR3 + New ECU Generation) → If the voltage falls below a certain level, the power won't even turn on (complete silence). → No response even when the DESS key is inserted. → The meter doesn't light up either. → It behaves as if the battery is disconnected.
