The Geely EX5 is a mid-compact electric SUV, measuring 4.61m long and 1.67m tall. It's a modern crossover, clean in its lines, not overly aggressive but with a well-proportioned front, slim headlights and LEDs that give it a contemporary look without being overbearing. The interior is where it's most striking for its price. It features two large screens and a head-up display, premium materials, comfortable seats (with ventilation and massage), a spacious interior for five, and a generous trunk. The atmosphere is bright, with its panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and a very "techy but uncomplicated" setup. Mechanically, it's simple and effective: front-wheel drive, a 160 kW (about 218 hp) electric motor, and 320 Nm of torque. Nothing too fancy, but it guarantees a 0–100 km/h sprint in 6.9 seconds, making it a lively enough sprint for overtaking and highway access without any problems. The ride is comfortable, with softly tuned suspension and good sound insulation: it's one of those cars you can cover many miles in without tiring. The battery uses LFP chemistry and delivers approximately 60 kWh. This brings the declared WLTP range up to 410/420 km. Fast charging up to 120 kW in DC, so 30–80% in about 20 minutes in ideal conditions. The real strength is the quality/price ratio: €38,900, offering a wealth of features, complete ADAS, a premium interior, and that feeling of solidity reminiscent of the most modern Geely platforms (GEA architecture).
