VW Scirocco Bonnet Lock Removal/Replacement

In this video, I’ll show you how to replace a faulty or broken bonnet lock (hood latch) mechanism on a 2011 Volkswagen Scirocco MK3. The bonnet lock on this car is tucked away deep inside the front end, meaning you cannot easily access it from the top. To do this job properly, you have to completely remove the front bumper to get to the internal latch mechanism. I’ll walk you through the step-by-step process of dropping the bumper, unbolting the old microswitch/latch assembly, and installing the correct replacement part to get your bonnet opening and closing safely again.
