Here are some examples of prepositions in action: 1.She ran to the park - here the preposition "to" shows the direction of her running. 2.We had dinner during the movie - here the preposition "during" shows the time when dinner took place. 3.The keys are on the shelf - here the preposition "on" shows the location of the keys. 4.The cat is hiding under the table.- here the preposition "under" shows the place where the cat is hiding. 5.He gave a gift to his friend - here the preposition "to" introduces the recipient of the gift.
